Our 3 inch dredges offer extreme versatility and are ideal for small to mid-sized dredging projects. The reinforced sluice box features rolled top edges and heavy duty latches for long life and durability as well as a long sluice track adjustment for precise tilt positioning. A large woven wire mesh classifier screen and black rubber ribbed matting at the entry section of the sluice provides for better classification and instant recognition of values. The combination of miners moss and expanded metal placed under the first half of the riffle section allows for improved fine gold recovery. Marlex Jet Flares increase suction power, diffusing material for more equal distribution into the sluice box. The Jet can be pivoted upward between the floats for ease of maneuvering through extremely shallow water. The pivoting Jet Flare and sluice can be detached from the floats and placed on level ground for use with a power jet or suction nozzle. The flotation system has been designed with a light frame and the streamlined pontoons are equipped with 3 "stringers" on the bottom that assist in sliding over rocks in shallow water. The floats are also conveniently molded with storage indentures providing a place to set your mask, gloves, tools, or other items. All of our 3 Inch Dredges are equipped with Model P180 pumps, PPJF3 Jet Flares, SB3F Sluice Boxes and have a dredging capacity of 3 cubic yards per hour. Fully assembled dimensions are 73" x 46" x 13" However, the entire frame has been constructed to separate into two sections for ease of transportation and storage.
